DRYING AND COOLING
With the MOZER® SYSTEM TK+ rotary dryer Sand drying & cooling machine manufacturers like MOZER can supply the dried material at cooled temperatures of about 55 to 60 °C, which is sufficient for the majority of applications in the building materials and minerals industries as well as for the ready mixed mortar industry.
MOZER supply “SYSTEM TK plus”, which is used predominantly for products with pure surface moisture, is a particularly energy-efficient dryer/cooler. In contrast to the SYSTEM TK the sand is not cooled with ambient air but by mixing in a proportion of moist sand with the wamed dried sand after it has passed through the inner cylinder. The material is cooled by the evaporation of the water from the added moist material, while this added material is dried by the heat stored in the main bulk of dried material.
